Watching
The Cairngorms National
Park is home to a wide variety of birds and wildlife. Visit RSPB Loch
Garten, April to August, and see nesting Ospreys; watch Pine
Martens and Badgers from Speyside
Wildlife's exclusive hide and enjoy a Rothiemurchus Safari.
Fishing
The River Spey offers some of the best Salmon, Sea and Brown Trout fishing in Scotland. Visitor fishing permits are available at Boat of Garten Post Office and licences for Grantown and Boat of Garten beats are available from Strathspey Estate Office. For stocked lochs go to Rothiemurchus, Mortimers
of Speyside in Grantown sell permits, equipment, clothing and accessories and visit Strathspey
